Prerecorded message call in violation of 47 CFR 64.1200(a)(2):
In a female voice, the caller said “Hello, this is Sue White with Senior Benefits”. The message went on to talk about some kind of burial plan insurance of some kind. It said to press 1 if you want to hear more. Then it said something about needing a checking account. Then it asked to leave your name and number and the best time to call at the tone. After leaving a name and number the message continued and said that if you wish to be placed on our do-not-call list, then call 713-804-0016. Goodbye for now. Caller ID (*69) gave 713-451-5111.
Anyone else get this call, and know anything more about the caller?
Can anyone confirm that the telephone numbers 713-451-5111 and 713-804-0016 were associated with this call?
Can anyone provide any information on the telephone numbers 713-451-5111 and 713-804-0016?

I received a call on my home phone today from 713-451-5111. I was unable to get to my computer in time to turn off the fax machine so the caller got a fax sound in their ear. I rarely answer the phone if I do not know the caller, preferring to let it go to the answering machine instead. Caller ID is a wonderously thing for us who work from home and do not want to be interrupted.
The name on the caller id was Fred R Kuttlin. And according to dogpile, the call is from Houston TX where there are several listings for Fred R Kruttlin.

Was the last name on your caller ID spelled Kuttlin or Kruttlin?

I just received this automated call so they are now calling Oregonians as well.
I didn't call the 713-804-0016 number as I should not have to pay a long distance call in order to be removed from a telemarketing list. Most reputable telemarketers will provide an option to press a number to be removed authomatically.
I plan to contact my state's Attorney General as well.
Thanks everyone.

If you left a fake name and your telephone number, and you get a call back asking for the fake name, and you get a call-back number from the caller, then please post it here...

Why do you say that it seems he has been sued quite a bit? I can't find anything on the internet for 713-804-0016 or 713-451-5111 or Fred Kruttlin besides this message board.

If you are ever home to get this call, please write down as much of the prerecorded message as you can remember. Then try to get connected with a live representative and pretend to be interested in what they are selling. See if you can get a name of the company, a www site, a call-back number, and/or an address. Please report back whatever you can find out.

This website is a list of people who have been indicted for a crime. Fred Ray Kruttlin is on the list. I too received a couple of calls from Fred today down here in Louisiana. The phone number is serviced by BellSouth. I was not home when the call came through. If I find out any more, I will post it.

Fred Kruttlin wrote me a letter from his 8792 Mittchell Road, Lumberton, TX 77657 address. He claimed that his business has gone under and he is in the process of filing for bankruptcy.
But from your post it is apparent that his business is doing well enough for him to keep spending money making illegal prerecorded telephone solicitations.
Please post the exact Caller ID information, date of the call, and any information you remember about the prerecorded message you received. If you left a fake name with your number in response to the message, then please let us know if you get a call back asking for that fake name.
