their latest scam is calling cell phones that charge to hear noone on line or this CRAP ect ect sometimes 10 times a day and charging your cell phone for the call to You from Agents travel network..

OK - Now this person, whoever it is, I'm sure - was one of Suntasia's typical "project" agents....someone who showed LITTLE TO NO SKILL in the art of

It's very possible that Nomad is completely wrong, or that he is completely right. Gypsy could be completely wrong or completely right.

They both seem sincere, given that they are both talking about something they feel pretty emotional about.

Realistically, if Nomad is making good money and to the best of his knowledge isn't ripping people off, it's tough to blame him. And Gypsy is basing his/her information on what he/she sees and experiences, so it's not hard to see where Gypsy is coming from either.

You seem like the kind of person who would care if he was being used as a tool for hurting people. You certainly seem to care what people think of what you do for a living, and that's probably a good thing. You can see from a search on Suntasia +scam on Google that there are a lot of people who feel as though they are being taken advantage of. It's possible this is just a sign of dealing with thousands of consumers, but it's also possible that something is seriously wrong.

Would it be possible to write down the names and phone numbers of your sales from a day, wait ten days and then call them to confirm they are getting the envelopes?

It's possible Suntasia is trusting a third party to send out the envelopes and the third party is dropping the ball.

Is there someway to verify the letters are being sent without providing the customers with your personal information?

I wouldn't suggest that people sign up just to do the test, but if he is going to make sales anyway, why not take a day's sales and use them for a test?

Nomad may learn something about the company he works for by doing the test, it may be good or it may be bad. We may learn something too. It certainly can't hurt to ask.

As of February 28th it is called Travel Agents Direct and most of the phone numbers have changed. They still have the main customer service number as 1-800-853-9982 and the office number as 727-471-0276.

Sunatia INC Link Yellow pages

They are located at 8751 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33771 NOT the address they give you over the phone. The one they give is to the travel agency that supposedly takes care of the free vacation which is another lie. It isn't free at all. The $400 in airline vouchers they offer only cover a small fraction of what the ticket costs. You have to fork over everything else yourself.

Also, the Florida Passport the $149 hotel accomodations to Orlando & Fort Lauderdale (time share program) is now called "Floridaway". The calling card "Teleflex" was changed to "PRISM Communications". It sounds like "prison" when you're selling it over the phone.

These changes were made because like in the past, many people caught on and started complaining. The manager even admitted in a meeting that the change had to be made because every year or so "things" have to look different in order to keep going.

Sorry to say, as a former employee I knew the product was foul after a while. I found out that the discount travel card they send you has to be returned to them otherwise you'll get charged. As for the calling card (Teleflex, Prism etc), if the customer doesn't want it, they have to write a letter which states to deactivate the card otherwise they'll be charged $49.95 anyway. Sadly many were charged before they got the package whether it was the travel, phone card or the hotel accomodations.

The company that owns all these different names including "Capital Vacations" is called, "Suntasia Marketing".

Their website is http://www.suntasia.com. There, you'll find ALL the REAL corporate officers and their agenda. Make NO mistake about it, this company is ONLY geared towards making money NOT promoting a satisfying product.

Sad to say they made $20 million dollars (2004/2005 fiscal year) off of the backs of innocent people. I saw the numbers myself in one of their brochure reports. How long can they go before someone FINALLY puts an end to this charade.

It is funny how they only record the portion of the conversation where the customer consents to the charges, but they don't record the part where they convince the customer that they will not be charged anything. It is true that 99% of the people who agree to it are pretty dense, but that makes the practice even more unethical. I watched several employees constantly interrupt these poor people on the other line and not give them the chance to say they are uninterested. The whole scam only works on people who are of a naive or polite nature. My fiance also worked there with me, and she didn't receive her paycheck until over a month after employment. We had to call and harass them every day, until it came down to me having arguments with Donald Booth, head of counsel, twice over the phone and me threatening to sue. I told him exactly which laws he was in violation of, and that I was going to take legal action, and he sent $91 in cash to our house. I can comfortably say that anyone who works at that dump is either a spineless, immoral piece of human garbage, or a complete idiot who doesn't know what is going on. If they were just "giving away free stuff", they wouldn't generate so much fucking money. Everyone who works there deserves all of the horrible karma they are due to get.

Whoever posted this needs to know that it doesn't surprise me this happened to you and your fiancee. This company is a sham and they know it. For Donald Booth (who's becoming very famous on the net these days) to send you cash at your house b/c you threatened to sue shows you how they take action when you mention the word lawsuit to them. If they had nothing to hide then legal counsel wouldn't be worried about your case or anybody else's.

Look, I worked there for a long time (not proud of it) and I can tell you that the only reason they get away with their shameless promotions is because of the "carefully" worded script they all use. It was preached to me constantly that I must use their "own" script and it was not to be amended because the lawyer upstairs (Donald) does not approve it. They say that but it doesn't stop the top ballers there from creating their own script. I have it and believe me it's easy to catch even the most skeptical person off guard.

You must also understand that management there plays mind games as well as politics with their employees. They make sure you "fail" if they don't like you or if they know you question things too much. Managers are often threatened with their jobs if they don't perform up to what they call their "standards" which of course means lying to the public about the products they promote.

Once again you attack me personally but duck and hide when DEALING with the FACTS. You ONLY addressed the bottom half of my previous post but continue avoiding a MAJOR point which was if I am so full of crap with what I said then why did KOMO CHANNEL 4 NEWS in Seattle exposed Suntasia for their marketing scam? I know it wasn't me who called them and why didn't Suntasia respond if they did nothing wrong?

Are you going to tell us that Rachael Randall (the lady who actually called her local tv news station in Seattle) that she is a liar, bile, bitter and an ex disgruntled customer? As for my telephone sales, yes I was honest and like I have stated many times in my other posts, once I started investigating the product and how it really "worked" I knew it had problems. Unlike you I have a conscience. As a matter of fact it was an employee there who told me about this site and how your company scammed people. I started talking to other reps in customer service and even managers who admitted it was a farce.
