I just got a call from the same number 727-544-0057 they told me they were "Fidenltiy Credit Service" in St. Petersburgh.  I told them I was on the National Do Not Call registry the man was very rude in insisting the call was not unsolisited.  Something about a secure credit card...yada...yada...yada...Good looking out!  Be very careful!

Thanks so much!! I keep getting this number on my cell too! If i tell them to take me off the list, will they? Anybody tried this?
Vortex
I have recieved calls from 727-544-0057 , 727-450-0346 , and 888-669-8868

They all linked back to being the same company. I had already read about them before I answered or called back, because I was not familiar with the number. After developing my plan of action I called the 727-450-0346 number, and after listening to a auto intro I eventualy auutomaticly transfered to a person. The most interesting thing was when she asked me if I was interested and I said yes (Trust me I was not, but I wanted to make it seem that way!) she proceded by saying the company name (cant remember) that they were located in clear water, FL and there telephone # was 888-669-8868. I had recieved calls from all three #'s listed for about 2 weeks, hoped they would just quite calling. then she said " I can assume your over 18 right?" this was my plan the whole time a little trick I was once taught. I said no I was only 16 (I am 25) she then regretfully informed me there had been a mistake and she would have to remove my name from the list for legal reasons. I dissapointedly thanked her anyways and have not heard from them since. I know the people asking to be taken off the list were not and in most cases recieved an increased number of call's. To my experience a company doesnt want ther rep to waste time on a minor that by law cant get into a contract. I would try this. It also got my friend out of a magazine subsription he subscribed to.

If anyone has any information on the REAL name of the company (registered with the state), and a REAL address, please post what you know...

Just tell them you are under the age of 18 they will take you off the list willingly. They do not want to waste time calling a minor who CANT enter into a contract. Has worked for everyone I told the trickiest part is trying to act like your dissapointed you cant get it.

Hey Landshark, you're going around in circles. The people who are TRULY responsible for promoting this shameless product is SUNTASIA MARKETING INC. Contacting the Florida Passport owner or anyone else other than the crooks at Suntasia is a waste of time.

You get better results contacting Donald Boothe (their legal eagle there) about your situation to resolve it. A CEASE and DESIST letter works just fine

Right. That's probably why you already have all our banking info on file. I WONDER WHY THAT IS?
A woman named Mary (Operator #212) from Agents Travel Network (www.agentstravel.com) introduced herself and explained to me that I was eligible to receive $400 in American Airlines vouchers along with a few other free prizes. She then went on to say that my eligibility is based on the fact that my bank, Washington Mutual, informed them that I have an active checking account. She verified my address, and then asked that I retrieve a copy of my check book. She wanted me to confirm my bank's routing number and my checking account number. She began to read off routing numbers and account numbers, none of which were correct. At that point, she began asking me whether the routing number began with a 0?, a 1?, a 2?, and so on. Finally, she commented that it would take a very long time to get the numbers that way, so she asked that I just give her the routing number and account number from the bottom of my check.

When I told her that I did not feel comfortable giving someone that information, she had a number of reasons why it was okay. All she would do with the numbers is verify that they were the same numbers that Washington Mutual had provided. I thought that was funny since the numbers she read off previously, that were supposedly given to her from my bank, were incorrect. I told her I was not interested and the call was ended.

Surprisingly enough, the number has already called back this morning. A different person on the other end of the line, but the same offer and the same request for my routing number and checking account number.
Now ask yourself: if this company isn't full of shit; if you're not defrauding people, then why do have people saying exactly the contrary? Memo: No legitimate business operates so clandestinely that they can't track your phone number on Intelus--unless YOU'RE RUNNING A FRAUDULENT OPERATION, BASED ON THE PURPOSE OF TAKING MONEY FROM PEOPLE. And again, why the hell do you have, or better yet require, people's banking info, or request a routing number to their banking account IF IT'S A FREE TRIAL? It's obvious to me what your company is doing. THEY'RE DEFRAUDING THE PUBLIC, YOU IMBECILE! AND YOU'RE COMPLICIT, BECAUSE YOU CAN'T SEE OUT OUF YOUR ASS THAT YOUR CORPORATION IS A FRAUD! WHAT'S MORE, YOUR COMPANY PROBABLY HAS VIOLATED FCC REGULATIONS HUNDREDS OF TIMES, AND HERE'S ONE OF THEM...RIGHT HERE! Just because you haven't been caught, doesn't mean it didn't happen. You aren't AOL; you're a no-name, fly-by-night operation that purchases names from some asshole in Montreal, or Romania or wherever the hell you crooks buy phone lists. Fuck you. And I did an option #3--DO NOT CALL, so if I so much as see a phone number linking to this company again, I'm going all out and reporting your asses to the feds.
"I'm sorry that you as an impulse shopper, have buyers remorse and want to take it out on the agent that gave you your free trial membership. However, I can only say this... CANCEL and take the trip and enjoy yourself, and anyway, if there were a mistake and you were billed in error, think about it, you ask for credit, AND WHERE CAN YOU GET A 3 DAY/2 NIGHT HOTEL STAY FOR 19.95 WITH THE ONE TIME ACTIVATION FEE OF 40.00? (IF you were actually billed in error) IF you can tell me where then I will retract everything I said. But you can't so I won't. ALL I'M saying is get the facts straight. If you want to get ino this the point is mute."
Oh, you asshole...blaming the people that you tried to defraud. Excellent strategy. You punk. On behalf of all the senior citizens you bullshit on a daily basis, fuck you and go directly to Hell--do not pass go, do not collect $200.

You and people like you are so gung-ho at towing the company line, that you would come on a message board and vehemently deny your business practices. What is this, your second job out of tech school? You probably make $11 base, with commission, and have a sales manager who rides your ass when you don't hit quota in the boiler room. But you'll defend this practice to high hell, because it's the only job you can get right about now.

Enjoy the ride, while it lasts. Either you won't have a job there, or you and the company will move to another place in Florida, then operate your boiler room from there. Either way, you're all frauds, and you deserve what's coming to you. All of you can kiss my ass.

G'day.
Some guy
Look, KissyLips...don't sweat this too much. Keep a close eye on your checking account for any fraudulant activity, but dont lose too much sleep over it. LOTS of people have your checking account #. From the guy at Blockbuster to your pizza delivery man. Just a checking account # doesn't give them much to work with. Thats why they want to talk to you to get more info...Your bank probably has certain safegaurds in place to help protect its customers from these kinds of scumbags. If you are really worried, go to your bank and explain to them that you want to change your account #. But I wouldn't get too twisted about this...Although it wouldn't hurt to report the incident to the B.B.B.
Fat, Drunk and Stupid
They called me in NC from 727-683-1114. I hung up on them when they started to talk about my checking account number.

Do they really have checking account numbers?

I wish I would have stayed on a little longer to see if they really had it.
Angel
Hey My name is Angel. I received a call from Distinct Advantage on the 28th of April. The women I talked with was very friendly. She was telling me about this free trial and $100 worth of free gas coupons and this other stuff. Then she told me my account number and all I had to do was verify if. I did how stupid of me. Then I got something in the mail and It did not look like something I would want so I canceled it the same day. Then on May 12th 2006 Freedom Gold took out $149. Them to make matters even more worse my bank said they could not do anything about it. The bank told me that I should call the number that was on the check. Oh yeah the check was not even one of mine. I called and this man said write a letter. The number I called was 800-853-0473. Their address is:
Freedom Gold
10500 Uomerton RD
Suite 726-302
Largo Fl. 33771
I think I will write them and see what happens.
Joe
Angel:

My suggestion is to send them a simple notarized CEASE AND DESIST certified letter stating that you DO NOT want to be involved with their company in any capacity whatsoever. You are not to receive anymore of their useless promotions either by fax, email, postal mail, cell phone, land line, telegram, telegraph or pony express. Also let them know that if your account is charged they will be held liable for any charges made and any other incurred fees instituted by the bank as well.

Make it clear in the letter that you are not to be solicited any more and they are to put you on the DO NOT CALL LIST and if they don’t it is a violation of your rights and it will cost them a heavy fine.

Their Corporate address is:

Suntasia Marketing
8751 Ulmerton Road
Largo, FL 33771

Corporate Officers can be found on their website:

http://suntasia.com/officers.htm

I would send the letter to their customer service address you received when you got the package as well as to their corporate address. You can address it to their lawyers name, Donald Booth and a copy of the letter should be also sent to the owners of the company. Please make sure you type out a neat, professional looking letter. DO NOT threaten them with any violence. The more calmly you make your demands, the better off you’ll be.

Finally, as for being taken off the list, please remember one thing. Telling the agent not to call anymore, cursing at them and then hanging up doesn’t help you. If you say, “take me off your list”, they MUST read you the following disclaimer or else it’s a major fine:

I’M SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE, YOUR NAME AND NUMBER WILL BE ISSUED ON OUR DO NOT CALL LIST AND YOU’LL NOT RECEIVE FURTHER CALLS. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS CALL I CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER (1-800-853-9982), IF NOT THANK YOU AND HAVE A NICE DAY.

Then once they stated the disclaimer, after you hang up, the call MUST be coded as a B9 DNC (Do Not Call) by the agent. It does take up to 48 hours to take you off their list but if you call their number back, it puts you back on the list b/c the agent will mis-code the call. I suggest as soon as you get off the phone with the agent, send them a certified CEASE AND DESIST notarized letter regardless whether you’ve joined the program or not, stating you do not want anymore solicitations from Suntasia Marketing or any of their umbrella companies.

I promise you if done correctly, chances are you won’t hear from them again because if they do, you’ll have a lawsuit against them. Hopes this helps.

Joe
Joe
Hey Angel, here is a lady who got some success by contacting them personally.

Posted last week in this thread by Shelly:

The Better Business Bureau came to my rescue. If for some reason you do get charged from this company and your bank refuses to help you, just contact the Better Business Bureau of West Florida. (http://www.bbwestflorida.org) Donald Booth (the attorney for Guardian Marketing, Suntasia, Floridaway Dream Escape, etc) apparently handles all of these situations. I received a letter from him yesterday along with two refund checks in the amounts of $59.95 and $49.95. I had my bank block the charge of $149.00 previously. I have since changed my bank account so that they can no longer charge money from my account. Beware of this company, they are all crooks.

Hope this helps.

If you are a telemarketer, you should learn about the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

If they called your cell phone using an automatic dialing systen, then you could sue them for a violaiton of the TCPA, 47 CFR 64.1200(a)(1)(iii).

I don't know about getting 11k out of them, but you could get $1,500 out of them for one call to your cell phone in violation of the TCPA.

Oops, I didn't finish.

My wife started receiving calls from 727-683-1114 a few days ago. They seem to know her first name, but she hangs up before they get to anything serious. From now on, she won't answer if it's from that number. I think the callers are "fooling" the phone system and the real number is not what you see.

I've been getting calls for the past couple of days. The person says they are from Distinct Advantage. Her name she uses is Latoya Woods. They were giving me some bogus routing number to my checking accounts and then asked me for my checking account number for security purposes. They were telling me that I am going to recieve free gas and airline vochures. You don't get nothing for free nowadays. It's a scam. (727) 683-1118 (727) 683-1125 These are the numbers that come up on my cell phone. Now that I hung up on them some "supervisor" is trying to get a hold of me.
Joe
Distinct Advantage is marketed by Suntasia Marketing in Largo, Florida (see posts above). The product they promote which is the "free" gas vouchers are just coupons you send back to them with your receipt from the gas station you made the purchase from. They supposedly give you $100 worth of gas vouchers but you can only turn them in $10 a month at a time. Not ALL gas stations participate by the way.

The airline vouchers ( I believe it's $400 worth) DOES NOT cover the cost of your whole ticket either. You have to spend for every $500 airline ticket purchased you get $100 off with the vouchers. You can only use the vouchers $100 at a time per ticket. The managers at Suntasia will often admit this to their agents but of course they are not allowed to let the customer know. They are told to promote the "free" gifts.

The Distinct Advantage program is no advantage at all. It says you gets coupons for products you buy everyday but when you get their package you realize how much work it will take to get the so called, "savings". You have to mail a bunch of stuff into the company in order to get the coupons plus there are even postage or mail in fees attached to it. Your better off cutting coupons from the newspaper every sunday. It only cost .50 cents.

As for your routing number, the way they obtain that is by asking you for your bank name and the city you opened it in. Once they have that information they type it into a network of banks which are connected to the program and WALLAH!! instant routing number. There is no problem with them having this information b/c routing numbers are just electronic addresses. You can get those off of the internet yourself. It's when you give them your account number is when you are committed to the product if you don't CANCEL within the two weeks. The problem here is that many people have been charged before they even got the package. Sometimes they didn't even get the package at all and still got charged.

Look Tina you need to send them a CEASE and DESIST letter to the company that promotes this sham. Suntasia Marketing are the ones who are responsible.

Their Corporate address is:

Suntasia Marketing
8751 Ulmerton Road
Largo, FL 33771

The corporate officers can be found on their website:

http://suntasia.com/officers.htm

I would send the letter to their lawyer named, Donald Booth and a copy of the letter should be also sent to the owners of the company. Please make sure you type out a neat, professional looking letter. DO NOT threaten them with any violence. The more calmly you make your demands, the better off you’ll be. Make it clear in the letter that you are not to be solicited any more and they are to put you on the DO NOT CALL LIST and if they don’t it is a violation of your rights and it will cost them a heavy fine.

Tina do not back down and make sure they never call you again. All you have to do is look on this thread in this forum and see for yourself how many people have taken action.

If you have any further questions let me know.

FYI:::

Today I received a phone call on my cell phone from 727-683-1127. I was told this was regarding my checking account. Since I was such a valued customer I was offered Airline vouchers as well as $100 in gas vouchers. All I had to do was (as everyone else ) verify my checking account numbers for them. I asked the woman what company this was and she hung up on me. Just for the record I NEVER purchase anything over the phone or online with my check. Well with such technology today I called the number that came upon my cell phone. When it was answered the man said my first and last name. This shocked me as the cell phone is a business phone an dnot evern in my name. How on earth did he get my name?????????? ANyway, I told him what had just happened and he seemed surprised. Then wenton to offer me the same thing the woman offered and wanted my information regarding my checking account. I informed him that since he knows I have one he shoul dknow what institution it is with. He needed me to verify it. I told him I am not at liberty to divulge that information and he then said That is the only thing holding up him sending me these voushers. I then told him Well, I guess I am nto going to receive these vouchers.
NOW, this guy new my name, my address, my PO Box address and the phone is not even in my name. How on earth did he get all this info on me??? I do no tknow, however, I will tell all of you this. I work for a Law Enforcement agency and bet your bottom dollar I am going to fin dout who these people are and when I do I will definitly post it on here. I have been getting calls lately to my cell phone from 727-544-0057. Sometimes they call every few days, sometimes they call twice a day. For a while, I didn't bother answering it because I didn't recognize it and figured it was a telemarketer. But I got sick of seeing missed calls from that number and so the last four times or so, I answered the phone intending to tell them that they had reached my cell phone and that I did not want them calling me anymore. However, when I answer the phone, no-one is there/it's a hang up. When I try calling the number back, all I get is a busy signal.

Finally today I tried doing a "reverse look-up" on the phone book online, and the number didn't come up. And then it occurred to me to just plug the phone number into the web search area- and I found this site. Wow.

I have taken some of the advice here and listed my cell phone on the federal do not call list, and I also used the online form to file a complaint with the FCC. I would tell the company I want to be on their do not call list, but I have never been able to actually talk to anyone there.

One thing I'm confused about- is this 727-544-0057 number/Fidelity the same people as this Suntasia company mentioned here? Or is it an entirely different company trying to do a similar scam??

P.S. I live in Pennsylvania

Suntasia Marketing. Look at the post above yours.

Just for the record I NEVER purchase anything over the phone or online with my check. Well with such technology today I called the number that came upon my cell phone. When it was answered the man said my first and last name. This shocked me as the cell phone is a business phone an dnot evern in my name. How on earth did he get my name??????????

They buy it off of another company who sell lists of names. The names are then put on their computer systems by phone number. It automatically comes up on their dialer.

NOW, this guy new my name, my address, my PO Box address and the phone is not even in my name. How on earth did he get all this info on me???

Again they bought the names from another company.

I do no tknow, however, I will tell all of you this. My friend you REALLY need to read the threads on this forum. The information you're looking for is on the post above yours. I can't understand why people keep repeating the same questions over and over.

The company that is promoting this product is Suntasia Marketing and the ones responsible for calling you.

Their Corporate address is:

Suntasia Marketing
8751 Ulmerton Road
Largo, FL 33771

You can go to their website at http://suntasia.com/ and get more information on who runs it.

PLEASE PEOPLE, READ THE OTHER POSTS BEFORE YOU ASK A QUESTION SO AS TO NOT REPEAT EVERYTHING OVER AND OVER AGAIN. THANKS.

I live in Maryland and was first called several days ago and told Distinct Advantage (understand they go by several names) I wasn't interested after they asked for the numbers on my checks.  Then just hung up.  Yesterday I got another call and decided to get more info to determine exactly who they were and what their scam was.  Of course, I wasn't going to give my banking account numbers.  When I told them why I wouldn't give it, they told me the numbers couldn't be used to debit my account (yeah right!).

This morning I researched "Distinct Advantage".  It's web site ( Distinct-Advantage.net ) gives no contact info and is very vague.  So I went to google and found this site.  Now I've learned that I'm not alone.  In fact, people have been targeted all over the U.S.

So, I suggest that we all start targeting them.  A complaint should be filed with the FTC.  And also with your state Attorney General's office.  I've already put together a package of material acquired from the Internet on their fraudulent activities, including printing the comments posted here (most helpful).  To me, simply requiring to return money that has been fraudulently acquired is not sufficient.  Since it is apparent that criminal acts are being committed, these people need to be prosecuted.  Hopefully, by the Attorney General Offices in every state they've defrauded people.

I've been a target of this scam yesterday, these crooks got my bank account number, and after reading the message boards i've just called their customer service line 800-853-9982. I told them that I want to cancel the free membership and I want nothing to do with them. The lady asked for my phone number in order to look up my account. I gave her my phone number that the person called me at, and she said that she cannot find my account. It will take up to 72 hours to be entered in the system?

What happens if you cannot get ahold of someone to cancel your membership? I'm assuming that they will charge you.

I have closed my account and reopened a new one, will I still be liable for the charges that don't go through to the account?

No because there is no way they can charge you. It was a good thing you closed your account. What you need to do is send them a cease and desist letter to their corporate office where this sham is sold. Look on this thread and it will give you all the info you need on how to contact them and what to do.

If you get a call from someone saying they are offering a free vacation from Travel Agents Direct and bonus offers from Floridaway and Prism Communications, just tell them to take you off their list. Also Distinct Adavntage and Freedom Gold as well. These companies are marketed by Suntasia Marketing in Largo, Florida (look at previous posts).

They convince you to give them your account number for "verification" purposes but the reality is on the recording it says, "to be charged in two weeks." The point here is that if you give them the name of your bank and the city where you opened it in then they can get your routing number, making you think that they have your account number as well. Take it from me the less info you give to them the better off you'll be.

Sadly, people like you have given up their account number only to find out later that they were duped.

For those in Florida, contact the Attorney Generals office to report fraud.

I went to the sunbiz.org website which lists all of the corporations in Florida and I found Suntasia's corporation documents. They are listed under Suntasia Properties Inc. You'll find there all the corporate officers of this company, annual reports and any changes they've made throughout their history. I totally forgot about this site. Anyway, you can click below for more info.

Yeah, I'm out in UT, and also have been receiving calls at least twice a day for the past week from 727-544-0057. I haven't answered any of the times they call, but it is annoying. How do I get them to stop calling? Also, I've been getting calls from 888-669-8868. They call at least 6 or 7 times a day. I hadn't answered any of those calls either until just know as I was reading this thread and they called again. As soon as I picked up, they hung up. Is this related? Does anyone know anything about this other number?
Leslie
"Fidelity Credit Services" sux. What is their problem? I have asked nicely that they stop calling my cell phone! I called them and asked them to take my number off their calling list, and they said they would ... but they kept calling. I called back and spoke to a rude dude this afternoon and asked AGAIN to have my number removed. He asked for my number and I told him I had already called about this once ... and before I could even get the number out of my mouth, he said, "Then don't me the number. You have a good day" and hung up!
727-544-0057 is their number. That is a St. Petersburg, Florida number. I am in Arizona. I called the St. Petersburg Police Department and they told me to file a phone harassment complaint with my local Police Department.
Kristi
FIDELITY CREDIT SERVICES IN PINEALLAS PARK, FLORIDA VIOLATES AND INTRUDES INTO PEOPLE'S PERSONAL LIVES BY CONSTANTLY CALLING CELL PHONE NUMBERS THAT WERE NOT GIVEN TO THEM! IN ADDITION, ALL THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE ASSHOLES! WHAT GIVES THEM THE RIGHT TO BE RUDE TO ME WHEN THEY ARE THE ONES CALLING ME? THIS COMPANY IS BEGGING FOR ENEMIES, AND THEY ARE MAKING THEM LEFT AND RIGHT ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. HERE ARE TWO OF THEIR ADDRESSES IN CASE ANYONE WANTS TO PAY THEM A VISIT: 8800 49TH STREET AND 7934 70TH STREET, BOTH IN PINEALLAS PARK, FLORIDA. ONE OF THEIR PHONE NUMBERS IS 727-544-0057.

You sound very ineffectual...take a language course befor you buy that ticket buddy!

Fidelity Credit Services is already the subject of numerous complaints, but you won't get anywhere filing a complaint with your local police. I have spoken with the Pinellas Park police, who referred me to the Florida Attorney generals Office who referred to to the correct agency. You may file a formal complaint against them by going here:

http://www.800helpfla.com/

You may also file a suit against them in your states small claims court per federal law, which I suggest you look into. Most states have their own laws as well which might also apply.

The numbers I have so far for Fidelity are:

727-544-0006
727-544-0017
727-544-0057
727-544-2383

I agree, everyone whom I have spoken with at this company are complete idots and assholes to boot, but keep in mind that all those numbers are direct lines to individual callers, so most of the time their busy and lately they don't seem to want to answer the phones, probaly because they know it's someone ready to give them an uncheerful earful.

They most likely bought your information from another credit card company, in my case they bought it from 1st Premier Bank in South Dakota and when they've called, they call my home phone and my cell phone at the same time. I filed suit yesterday in Iowa seeking statuatory damages in the amount of $4500, and I already have the motions to have their assets frozen, liens and attatchments to follow.

In the best case scenario, the judge will issue subpoenas for the four employees I've dealt with along with the owners, and then they can see our beautiful state in person. But most likely they won't even show up at which point I get a default judgement and I'll start the collection process immediately, including the seizure of their office equipment.
troy
Fidelity isn't incorporated either which means the owners personal assets may be attatched to satisfy the judgement.

Wonder what kind of cars they drive...

It looks like this is a basic membership club, and someone decided that they could make more money by saying they need the banking information to confirm something instead of saying that it is to pay for the membership.

It's also possible the whole thing is a just a scam, but if it was just a scam from day  1, they probably wouldn't bother with a website.

Luckily, there are a limited number of people stupid enough to give out their checking account information.  This will probably go away all by itself.  There can't be enough people that are stupid enough to keep this going for very long.

Having said that, if you are on the national do-not-call list, this is obviously a violation and should be reported.

Be happy you didn't work at the Suntasia Corporate office. You said you didn't see anything but you were only there a few days. If you stay long enough you will realize the truth of this company. It is a COMPLETE sham.

As we speak they are being investigated by the FCC for charging 50 for a telemarketing license that doesn't exist. You have to be registered but there is no such thing as they (Suntasia) are collecting money on behalf of the FCC for a phone license. This is what they are still doing now, charging $16.50 for 3 weeks (use to be $10 for 5 weeks). Unfortuntely you never see your actual license and no one there seems to have any REAL answers for you as to why not.

The more you stay there the more you see how they REALLY make their money. Questionable company at best.

Not only that Joe, but once you've been around the block in telemarketing you see the signs right away. Unless you don't want to. wink.gif

As all of you know the more information we have about a company the better.

Suntasia Marketing has umbrella companies underneath them such as Travel Agent Go Direct, Floridaway and Prism Communications. Well if you go to the florida better business bureau site you'll see that these companies already have complaints against them. Click below and see
.

It's only been a few months since they've changed their name. As a matter a fact the former companies they were known as were Agents Travel Direct, Florida Passport and Teleflex Communications. If you have had dealings with any of these companies then you have to read the complaints against them. Click below.

Sad but this company actually thinks that the products they offer really benefit consumers.

We can convince ourselves of anything if we want to. They must be convinced in order to convince the reps!

Also, people having problems with Fidelity may want to contact Pinellas County Consumer Protection here:

Fidelity BTW, is running a scam whereby they offer people the chance to "rebuild" their credit by "purchasing" a credit card for $129 dollars.

Then they send you a packet with information on how to apply for a credit card.

The more I find out about this company the more inclined I am to visit my family in Florida and make a little side trip, but chances are I'd find the business closed by the state or feds, the heat is on them.

I was just watching an episode of "Friends" on UPN Channel 44 here in Tampa, Florida and when they went to commercials I couldn't believe the promo that I saw. It was a 30 second commercial for Suntasia Marketing looking for people to hire. I saw a few familiar faces in the promo, one of them being a manager named Heather. She definitely is a beautiful woman and I am not surprised they chose her to speak on the commercial but sadly they actually want to come across as a "family" atmosphere type of environment emphasizing on the $13 an hour you could make as a telemarketer.

This company is REALLY in denial with what they do and the products they promote. They are boldly going on the offense, pushing what the company is about. Funny thing is their "REAL" corporate address, phone number and website is clearly displayed on the commercial. The website isn't even complete if you wanted information on jobs at Suntasia. It even has a mis-spelling on it. I copied the actual typo from their website. LOOK AT HOW THEY SPELLED THE WORD "COMPANY".

"Suntasia is also contracted with several market leaders in the industry and is recognized as a high quality sales comapny in regards to compliance and customer satisfaction. Following is a small sample of past and present campaigns:"

You can click below and see it for yourself.

http://suntasia.com/campaigns.htm

I am sure the big people at Suntasia who read this blog will change it as soon as they realize their stupid blunder.

I won't knock the fact that their promo was well done but when it comes to its contents, questionable at best. Many people have worked there and I can tell you that most of them hated the experience due to the politics and garbage you have to put up with as an employee.

If anyone has seen the promo in the Tampa Bay area, please tell us. I know I wasn't hilusonating when I saw it.

My mother and I have recieved cashed checks from Distinct Freedom and FreedomGLD. Around $200 together, when we tracked the numbers we got a skylink to a Tobbie and Robin. I don't have $200 to be throwing out to a couple of computer punks(I am assuming that is what they are because when I looked up Distinct Freedom it took me to a World of War Craft site). Are bank isn't being any help whatsoever. But I promise to you, if this isn't sorted out I'm going to track those little bastards down and do something to them I may later regret when the police show up.

I was receiving calls from a number like this, and i finally answered after a few days, and i heard a girl, and she had said Angela since you have an active checking account, and are good with keeping up with it, we are going to send you $500.00 worth of coupons for you to use, i was like ok... then she says we are also going to send you $100.00 gas vouchers, and a credit card that you can use at mall of america, also a phone card for your personal use...i was like um ok, she then continues to read off my bank routing number, my account number, my address, and then says is this correct..im like um um yeeesss..... all confused, but still thinking well if the bank gave them this information...
Well, i got the gas vouchers in the mail, but never got anything else, and then next thing i know, there is a withdraw from my account for $149.00, then i find out that just this past week there was another withdraw of $59.95 from my account. I didnt know who was taking this, so i called my bank who called corporate, and gave me a number to call for the people who are taking this money, i find out that it's "FREEDOM ADVANTAGE", I call and ask to speak to someone in the billing department, they tell me no, i ask for anumber for the billing department they tell my no, they say you have to send a letter...im like what! they said they couldn't verify that i was who i said i was, im like so you can verify i am who i say i am when you want account info though? How does that make sense?

well i have closed my account, and contacted the BBB of west florida.... and i only did this thanks to finding this web-site,a nd seeing how many people have been scammed by these people already! How unbelieveable some people can be!
