What do I like to do with telemarketers?

I like it when they call, even with their fax machines.

If I get a fax machine that calls me, I put them on hold.

It eats up their minutes if they have to pay for the call.

When I get a call from an actual person calling I say, "Oh, goodness. I'm so glad you called. Could you hold for a minute?"

Then I put them on hold. It eats up their minutes if they have to pay for the call.

Or I try this option.

When I get a person calling I say, "I'm kind of busy right now. Can I have your home phone number and I'll call you back later?"

Works for me!

Yes, I'm on the no call lists. I'm unlisted and unpublished, but sometimes they just slip through the cracks. It's "play their own game."

I don't let it bother me, because that is what they want to do. I won't give them that satisfaction.

Yes, I even get obnoxious posts on my website, but I don't let them bother me either. I know how to deal with those too.

Blessings,

Oh I love to answer telemarketer calls. I love to intimidate them with the type of job they have.

My favorite is to let them go on and on and then blow a whistle really loud in their ear.

I also tell them to hold on just for a minute while I go turn down my television sound and then lay the phone down right by my Bose Woffers and crank it up as loud as I can for several minutes.

That seems to work most of the time. Try it!

Now that's torture.
Making someone listen to a BOSE woofer. LOL
