Got a call last night asking for my husband. They said they were calling
from ASR Research. I asked to be put on their DNC. Got another call
tonight asking again for my husband. I told him that I had already requested
to be placed on their DNC. He said that the only way that they would do
it would be for my husband to make the request. I had all of my
extra phone features removed (caller ID etc) because I needed to keep
some costs down. My *69 is blocked because my teenagers were using
it whenever they came home "in case someone called them". They are away
at college now, so I suppose I can have the block removed.

In the meantime, does anyone know about this company? I googled it
but ASR is also the acronym for some kind of speech recognition company
and I don't see any research or survey type company that looks like it could
be it.
