Today I finally took the plunge and cancelled my Cox cable phone.
And while doing so I get a call waiting call from 1-800-901-0925.
It was a prerecord from Avenue Stores.
The present like the past I have tape recorded theses scoundrels
Although in the past I have reported them and played the recordings back to my states AG office only to be told on one occasion that my being in a soft easy going info gathering manner was not firm enough. This in spite of being on the DNCL.
Yet on another time I was told that I was to abrupt and did not give them a chance to hang themselves. AGAIN This in spite of being on the DNCL both times.
Bottom line I guess the State and Federal DNCLs are nothing more than JOKES.
Either way while canceling my Cox phone today. I was told by a Cox employee that cell phones do not have the location known quickly when dialing 911.
Well, since I never have used 911 in my 50 years on this planet.
Than I can only conclude the next 50 to be the same.
Thus if the AG's office would like to hear the call it is at
for posterity. Since I doubt seriously the AG's office will do a dam thing about it any way.
Either way the people have a right to know the AG's office is a DO NOTHING OFFICE in regard to prerecords. And a copy will be posted at the CATS website message board. for world review
Boy that burns my ass to NO end when she says:
"To no longer receive these calls press one or call 800-901-0925"
Obviously she is an illegal alien that CANNOT read English otherwise she would have already read the DNCL a long ass time ago.
All I can say is that now I am with Cingular and I have an option of only receiving calls from people in my address book. However, If the day should come that touch tone terrorist such as this one find a way to crack my address book. Well, heaven help the terrorists that are employed at this store or others. For I may have to defend my minutes in SELF DEFENSE............................
