Bank of America has the most annoying way to activate your new ATM card by phone. Avoid it and do it at an ATM! They push so called credit protection (not free)and credit insurance (not free) on you taking a lot of time, and if you ignore it during the call or say no they keep at it again. You would think they could just have you put in the card number and perhaps one item to identify you as since u are calling from your home phone they know it's from u. Then they could simply remind u to sign the card to dhpoow u agree with the ATM/Debit Card contract and
then tell u, thank u , your card is now activated, but they make these repeated sales pitches to u even if you don't want them!
